About this fabric

Woven in a 54% viscose and 46% polyester blend, this velvet has the plush body and sheen expected of a statement upholstery cloth, with a usable width of 138cm and a severe contract rating. The surface shows broad terracotta-sienna bands broken by creamy ivory passages and fine threads of green and red, creating a layered, almost mosaic stripe that shifts as the pile catches the light. Its 100,000 Martindale result makes it well suited to demanding seating, while the treatable FR suitability extends its use across drapery and upholstery projects. The repeated wave-like stripe structure, with a 18cm horizontal and 17cm vertical repeat, gives the design a strong sense of movement without losing its tailored feel.

How to use it

This warm, earthy colourway works well on a sculptural armchair, banquette or decorative cushion where the sienna tones can glow against oak, walnut or linen upholstery. Pair it with chalky neutrals, deep green accents or antique brass for a layered, collected scheme.

Use with warm neutrals and aged brass to let the woven movement stand out.
