About this fabric

This colourway is a grounded mix of earthy burnt sienna, oatmeal beige and weathered taupe, with pale stripes and clear blue accents breaking through the check. The pattern repeat is 35cm by 35cm, giving the plaid a confident scale that reads clearly across a room. Woven in 100% polyester, it has a practical 20,000 Martindale rating and a usable width of 140cm, making it suitable for accessories, drapery and upholstery in everyday interiors. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, so it can be specified where a fire-treated finish is required.

How to use it

Use it to warm up a neutral scheme, especially with tan leather, aged oak and chalky paint colours. The sienna base and blue pinstripes work well in relaxed country-inspired spaces or a smart guest room.

Pair with natural wood and oatmeal plains to let the warm check pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
