HEATHCLIFF Butterscotch

Haworth Fabric

HEATHCLIFF Butterscotch shows a refined tartan-style check in warm butterscotch, grey and charcoal over a soft neutral ground. The palette feels grounded rather than sugary, with the golden lines giving the design its warmth.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric has a usable width of 140cm and a 35cm horizontal and vertical pattern repeat. The 20,000 Martindale rub test and General Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for everyday seating as well as drapery and accessories, and it is treatable for FR upholstery or drapery use. Visually, the colourway reads as a muted grey-beige base sharpened by charcoal stripes and softened by narrow butterscotch accents. The overall effect is tidy and tailored, with the check sitting clearly on the surface without looking heavy or overly rustic.

How to use it

Use it on a classic armchair, window seat or tailored curtains where the warm gold lines can pick up timber and brass tones. It works especially well in rooms with stone, taupe or ink accents, because the butterscotch detail lifts the neutral ground without overpowering it.

A warm check that balances easily with oak, leather and brushed metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
