About this fabric

This colourway shows a moody charcoal base lifted by pale grey and chalky cream lines, with occasional warm taupe notes softening the contrast. The pattern repeats at 35cm horizontally and vertically, creating a broad check that reads clearly across the cloth. Made from 100% polyester with a usable width of 140cm, it is graded for general domestic upholstery and carries a Martindale rub test of 20,000. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it a practical choice where a sharper, smarter plaid is wanted.

How to use it

Use this charcoal check on an armchair, bench or tailored curtains to bring structure without making the room feel stark. It sits neatly with oak, painted wood and brushed metal finishes, especially in schemes that favour cooler neutrals.
