About this fabric

8335/01 is a compact-looking woven plaid with a charcoal-grey ground and a softly brushed, diagonal-looking yarn texture visible across the swatch. Fine teal-blue, burgundy and rust-brown lines form an orderly checked grid, with the blue providing a cool lift to the otherwise deep colourway. The dark base absorbs much of the light, while the textured weave catches it in short, silvery flecks rather than a smooth sheen. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the charcoal base as a tailored upholstery cloth on a chair, bench or sofa, then pick up its muted teal or burgundy lines in cushions and accessories. Rust-brown wood or leather tones will reinforce the plaid’s warmer threads without losing its cool, deep character.

A dark, tailored plaid that suits upholstery needing a cool charcoal base with restrained teal, burgundy and rust accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
