Sloane Mews Graphite

Sloane Square Fabric

Sloane Mews Graphite has a close-set herringbone weave in layered charcoal, graphite and warm grey-brown tones. Its compact pattern gives the swatch a tailored, quietly textured appearance rather than a flat solid colour.

About this fabric

The small-scale chevron structure is clearly defined across the surface, with alternating dark and lighter threads creating a softly mottled graphite effect. Although the overall impression is charcoal grey, the brown-grey flecks keep the colour from reading as stark black or cold slate. The dense-looking woven texture gives this colourway a neat, architectural character that suits the structured lines of upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use this warm graphite colourway on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its fine herringbone adds depth without introducing a strong contrasting pattern. Pair it with warm timber, aged metal and softer taupe or oatmeal textiles to draw out the subtle brown notes in the weave.

A tightly woven graphite herringbone that brings tailored texture and subtle warmth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
