Craigie Hill Opal

Craigie Hill Fabric

Craigie Hill Opal has a soft blue-grey ground with a restrained, finely woven texture. Its cool opal colouring shifts gently across the surface, giving the swatch understated depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The surface shows a small-scale diagonal weave, creating a delicate chevron-like movement that is visible without becoming a dominant pattern. Pale grey, blue and lightly mottled threads blend across the face, producing a muted, mineral tone. The close, even weave reads as substantial enough for upholstery while remaining visually calm for drapery. In changing light, the cool blue notes become more apparent against the softer grey background.

How to use it

Use Craigie Hill Opal on a sofa, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme where its pale blue-grey tone can complement chalky whites, silvered timber and cool neutral walls. Pair it with deeper slate or washed denim accents to draw out the subtle blue in the weave.

A cool opal-toned woven texture that brings quiet colour and subtle movement to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
