Craigie Check Croft

Craigie Hill Fabric

Craigie Check Croft has a quietly weathered character, combining a pale greige ground with soft taupe-grey check lines. Its close-up texture gives the colourway a gently nubby, tactile appearance rather than a flat printed finish.

About this fabric

The large check is formed by broad vertical and horizontal bands, with a darker dotted-looking edge defining the central windowpane sections. Oatmeal, cool grey and muted taupe threads blend across the surface, creating a low-contrast pattern with subtle depth. The visibly substantial woven texture makes this colourway particularly appropriate for upholstery, where its softened plaid can bring warmth without becoming dominant. Its restrained greige colouring reads calm and versatile, with the darker lines adding just enough definition to furniture.

How to use it

Use Craigie Check Croft on a country-style armchair, sofa or footstool alongside chalky whites, weathered timber and muted taupes. Its soft greige base also works well with deeper charcoal, moss or natural brown accents for a more layered room.

A softly weathered greige check with tactile woven depth, well suited to relaxed upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
