Craigie Plaid Opal

Craigie Hill Fabric

Craigie Plaid Opal is a softly muted plaid led by a cool, frosted blue. Misty grey, ivory and barely-there blush lines give the check a gentle, weathered depth.

About this fabric

The Opal colourway layers a pale, cool blue ground with misty grey, ivory and very faint peach-pink lines. Broad bands cross into an open plaid, while the close-up reveals a fine, tactile weave that gently softens the checks rather than leaving them sharply graphic. Its washed palette feels calm and relaxed, making the fabric suitable for either upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use the cool opal-blue ground to lighten a relaxed sitting room, pairing it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and soft grey upholstery. The faint blush accents can be echoed in small cushions or muted ceramic pieces.

Its cool opal blue, softened grey and faint blush checks sit comfortably with pale timber, linen and neutral upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
