Craigie Paisley Stone

Craigie Hill Fabric

Craigie Paisley Stone combines a muted stone-taupe ground with shadowy charcoal and olive-grey paisley markings. The close view shows a tactile, irregular weave that gives the pattern a softly weathered depth.

About this fabric

The paisley is clearly defined but softened by the fabric’s ridged woven surface, so the dark motifs read as integrated shading rather than a sharp printed contrast. Its stone base sits between warm beige and cool grey, with subdued olive notes visible through the ground. The medium-scale motif has enough presence for a chair or cushion while retaining a composed, tailored feel across a larger surface. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this stone-taupe colourway to temper darker wood, charcoal upholstery or olive accents, where its gently mixed ground can bridge warm and cool finishes. It would also suit relaxed curtains or a patterned occasional chair in a quietly traditional room.

A muted stone-taupe paisley with a tactile woven surface, well suited to tailored upholstery or softly structured window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Craigie Paisley Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
