Sloane Stripe Peat

Sloane Square Fabric

Sloane Stripe Peat combines a deep, almost blackened peat-brown ground with fine lighter brown vertical stripes. Its close woven texture gives the dark colour gentle depth rather than a flat appearance.

About this fabric

The cloth shows broad dark bands divided by narrow, softly contrasting brown stripes, creating a restrained vertical rhythm. A fine diagonal weave is clearly visible across the surface, lending the fabric a tactile, subtly broken finish. The dense-looking construction reads as suitable for upholstery from the photograph, although no composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this exact fabric. Light catches the textured weave in small shifts, keeping the peat shade rich and dimensional.

How to use it

Use this deep peat-brown colourway to bring tailored warmth to a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, especially alongside aged timber, tobacco leather or muted neutrals.

Use the deep peat-brown stripe on an occasional chair, sofa or headboard for a tailored, quietly textural finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
