Apron Stripe Dufour

Apron Stripe Dufour is a cool blue-grey stripe with a tightly drawn, finely textured surface. The close vertical lines give the swatch a quiet, architectural rhythm rather than a bold striped effect.

About this fabric

The muted blue-grey ground is threaded with closely spaced darker and lighter vertical lines, creating a subtly variegated finish as the light moves across the weave. Its 320 gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial handle suited to upholstered outdoor seating. The pattern has no vertical repeat and a compact 1.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the stripe remains consistent across the 150 cm usable width. With 49 threads per centimetre and an Outdoor performance designation, this is a densely woven, practical choice for exterior upholstery.

How to use it

Pair this cool blue-grey colourway with pale stone, weathered timber or charcoal frames to create an outdoor setting with a crisp, tailored feel. The narrow vertical stripe also brings definition to generously proportioned cushions and seat pads without overpowering them.

Use this cool blue-grey stripe on outdoor seating where its disciplined vertical rhythm can sharpen a relaxed scheme.
