About this fabric

The close-up shows an even, plain surface rather than a visible motif, with a soft finish that catches the light gently across each fold. Its blue-grey tone is muted and slightly cool, giving the colour a calm, airy depth rather than a strong or saturated blue appearance. The fluid way the fabric gathers in the image makes it best suited to drapery applications. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this soft slate-blue grey with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal for a light, contemporary scheme. Full-length curtains would make the most of its fluid folds and restrained colour.

Use this cool, muted blue-grey for calm curtains or softly gathered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
