About this fabric

The colour sits between silver and mid grey, with a cool cast that reads clean rather than warm or taupe. A fine, smooth-looking surface catches the light gently along the raised folds, while the shaded creases deepen the tone to graphite grey. The close-up shows no visible motif, making the quiet variation in light and drape the defining feature of this colourway. Its fluid appearance makes it particularly suited to curtains and other softly gathered window treatments.

How to use it

Use Cloudburst at full length in a cool-toned room with pale stone, white or charcoal accents. The grey surface works especially well where softly gathered curtains can reveal its subtle shift from silvery highlights to deeper fold shadows.

Use this cool grey plain cloth for softly folded curtains, where its gentle surface sheen can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
