About this fabric

The visible colour sits between warm grey and soft brown, giving this colourway a grounded mocha character without appearing dark or heavily saturated. A fine, even surface lends the cloth a gentle lustre, most noticeable where the folds catch the light. The relaxed drape shown in the image makes it particularly suited to curtains, blinds and other flowing window treatments. With no motif to interrupt the surface, the depth comes from the tone, sheen and changing shadows across the fabric.

How to use it

Pair Shuteye Mocha with warm ivory, stone and pale timber for a quiet neutral room, or layer it with deeper chocolate accents to bring out its brown warmth. Its fluid fall works especially well in full-length curtains where the soft highlights can move across the folds.

Use this softly lustrous mocha taupe for fluid curtains and calm, tonal window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
