Mason Mocha

Avalon FabricCCF0394-05

Mason Mocha reads as a warm, muted taupe-brown woven with a softly mottled surface. Fine pale flecks and broken vertical marks give the close-up texture gentle movement without a high-contrast motif.

About this fabric

Mason Mocha has a dense, tactile woven surface in a warm mocha taupe, with pale flecks and broken, softly vertical marks creating a quietly irregular pattern. At 498 gsm, it has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, while the 137 cm usable width supports practical cutting. The design has a 43 cm vertical repeat and 34.3 cm horizontal repeat, so the uneven motif remains an important consideration when matching sections. Supplied in a standard 40 m length, this colourway combines the visual depth of brown with the softened character of taupe.

How to use it

Use Mason Mocha on a sofa, armchair or headboard where its warm taupe-brown tone can soften darker timber and sit comfortably with cream, stone and muted olive accents. Its irregular woven marks add texture without introducing a bright or strongly graphic contrast.

A substantial 498gsm woven upholstery fabric with a softly irregular surface and warm taupe-brown depth.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mason Mocha without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
