Kauai Mocha

Exotica FabricCCF0386-07

Kauai Mocha brings a warm, softened mocha-taupe tone to the tightly woven Exotica textile. Its close, small-scale surface pattern gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat block of brown.

About this fabric

The 549gsm construction has a substantial, upholstery-weight appearance, with tiny interlaced loops forming a fine, even grid across the surface. Warm mocha, taupe and muted brown notes shift subtly through the weave, creating a softened earthy finish rather than a deep, saturated chocolate. With a 134cm usable width, it is well suited to upholstered furniture and other tailored applications. The pattern repeat is 0cm vertically and horizontally, so the texture can be positioned without matching a motif; the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Kauai Mocha on a sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard where its warm taupe-brown depth can soften pale walls and sit comfortably with timber, leather and natural stone.

Use this warm mocha-taupe weave to bring depth to upholstered seating and headboards.

Pairs well with

Kauai Mocha is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
