Asper Putty presents a pale putty greige ground marked by delicate, closely spaced vertical striations. Its lightly irregular grain gives the surface subtle movement while retaining a calm, quiet appearance.

About this fabric

The colour sits between chalky cream, soft beige and a restrained grey, creating the muted depth characteristic of putty rather than a flat neutral. Fine vertical lines run through the surface with slight tonal variation, producing a gently tactile, woven-looking effect that catches the light without becoming glossy. The wallcovering has a 53 cm usable width, a 53 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat. It is supplied in a standard 10.05 m length and has a listed weight of 460 gsm.

How to use it

Use Asper Putty across a bedroom, hallway or softly furnished sitting room where its warm greige tone can sit comfortably with ivory, natural oak, limestone and brushed metal. The vertical striation adds quiet architectural rhythm behind simple furniture without competing with patterned textiles.

Use this softly mottled putty greige with warm whites, pale timber and understated natural textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
