Asper Midnight

Expressions Performance Wallcoverings WallpaperCCW0122-02

Asper Midnight brings a cool, atmospheric depth to the wall, with dense midnight-blue and charcoal vertical striations broken by fine pale flecks. The irregular lines give the surface a subtly mineral, weathered character rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

This wallpaper is defined by narrow, uneven vertical marks that shift between deep blue, charcoal and softened grey-white accents. The dark ground reads as saturated but muted, while the lighter flecks catch the eye in a way that adds depth across the design. It has a usable width of 53 cm, a 53 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat. Each standard length is 10.05 m, with a stated weight of 460 gsm.

How to use it

Use Asper Midnight on a feature wall in a study, snug or bedroom where its cool blue depth can sit alongside smoked timber, charcoal upholstery and brushed metal. The vertical direction is especially effective behind a headboard or across a tall chimney breast.

Use this deep, cool blue ground to bring movement and architectural rhythm to a feature wall.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Asper Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
