About this fabric

The low-saturation ash tone gives this colourway a calm, balanced appearance, while tiny lighter and darker flecks add texture across the surface. Its subtly uneven grain catches the light without becoming shiny, keeping the overall effect understated and smart. At 498gsm, Mason Ash has the visual and physical substance expected of an upholstery fabric. It has a 137cm usable width, a 40m standard length and a listed pattern repeat of 43cm vertically by 34.3cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use Mason Ash on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool greige-grey tone can soften darker timber, charcoal accents and natural stone. Pair it with warm ivory or muted taupe to bring out the gentler beige notes visible in the surface.

Its softly flecked ash-grey surface brings quiet depth to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
