Kyoto Stripe Silk Yellow

Zoffany x Michael Smith Indoor Outdoor Fabric OutdoorZOF0250-04

Kyoto Stripe Silk Yellow combines warm ochre-gold vertical bands with broken cream and brown markings. Its irregular, weathered-looking surface gives the stripe a tactile, layered character rather than a crisp uniform finish.

About this fabric

The pattern is built from vertical stripes approximately 35 cm apart, with fine horizontal lines running through the ochre ground and distressed cream-and-brown motifs interrupting the bands. The warm yellow tone reads as muted ochre rather than bright lemon, while the dark flecks add definition and visual depth. At 386.2 gsm and 142 cm wide, this is a substantial outdoor textile suited to upholstered applications. The supplied specification gives a 36 cm horizontal repeat and 854 threads per cm, supporting the fabric’s densely detailed woven appearance.

How to use it

Pair the ochre-yellow ground with natural wood, warm stone and deep brown accents for a relaxed outdoor seating scheme. The cream breaks in the stripe can also be picked up in cushions or surrounding pale upholstery.

Use this warm ochre stripe on outdoor seating where its broken cream and brown texture can add depth without overwhelming the room.
