About this fabric

This colourway reads cool and architectural, with midnight navy blocks set against a pale woven ground and fine accents of rust, steel blue and charcoal. As a velvet, it has the richness and surface movement you expect from a tactile pile cloth, while the 54% viscose and 46% polyester composition helps give the face a refined lustre. The design repeats at 18 cm across and 17 cm down, creating a steady, vertical rhythm that suits the stripe-like layout shown in the swatch. With a 138 cm usable width, 100,000 Martindale and Severe Contract upholstery grade, it is well suited to hard-working seating as well as drapery and accessories, and it is treatable for FR use in both drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or tailored curtains where the midnight navy can anchor the room. It works especially well with pale oak, chalky stone and tobacco leather, which pick up the rust notes in the pattern.

Pair with warm neutrals and clean-lined furniture to let the midnight navy ground the energetic streaks.
