COTTINGLEY Indigo 2

Haworth Fabric

COTTINGLEY Indigo 2 shows a dark indigo ground lifted by flowing wave stripes in teal, aqua and muted olive. The layered zigzag weave gives the pattern a crisp, textural look with clear movement across the surface.

About this fabric

This colourway is built on a charcoal-indigo base, so the brighter teal and aqua bands read as cool, luminous lines rather than a full bright stripe. The woven herringbone texture softens the waves and gives the cloth a tailored, slightly tactile finish. It is made from 100% polyester and has a usable width of 140cm, with a 35cm horizontal repeat and 12cm vertical repeat. With a Martindale rating of 20,000 and an upholstery grade of General Domestic, it is suitable for everyday furniture as well as drapery and accessories, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

Use it on accent chairs, cushions or statement curtains where the indigo ground can frame the cooler turquoise bands. It works especially well with pale timber, graphite, or brushed metal finishes to sharpen the contrast.

Pair with charcoal upholstery or pale oak to let the wave stripe stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
