COTTINGLEY Butterscotch 2
Haworth Fabric
Cottingley Butterscotch 2 pairs a softly wavy stripe with a grounded, earthy palette. The woven surface reads as warm and textural, with butterscotch, taupe, cream and dark brown bands giving the design a rich, layered look.

About this fabric
Part of the Haworth collection by iliv, this 100% polyester fabric has a usable width of 140cm and a 20,000 Martindale, making it suitable for General Domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The pattern repeat is 35cm horizontally and 12cm vertically, creating a bold undulating stripe across the cloth. In this colourway, the butterscotch notes sit against taupe, cream and dark chocolate tones, so the overall effect feels warm rather than bright. The weave has a slightly herringbone-like texture that adds depth and helps the darker bands recede while the lighter ones catch the light. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, with colour fastness rated 5.
How to use it
This colourway works well with walnut, oak and other warm timber finishes, where its brown and biscuit tones feel cohesive. Use it on a statement chair or curtains in a room that benefits from a smart, earthy accent with a little movement.
Use with warm woods and plain textured fabrics to let the woven stripe take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
