About this fabric

This substantial textile weighs 642 gsm and has 158 threads per cm, giving the visible floral weave considerable depth and presence for upholstery. The design combines larger chrysanthemum-like blooms with smaller flowers and winding foliage, creating a busy but balanced repeat across the dark ground. Its usable width is 147 cm, with a vertical pattern repeat of 76 cm and a horizontal repeat of 73.5 cm. In this Tabac colourway, the warm brown base softens the brighter red and ochre flowers while allowing the cooler blue-green details to catch the eye.

How to use it

Use Tabac on a statement armchair, headboard or traditional sofa where its tobacco-brown depth can anchor warm timber, aged leather and antique brass. Repeat the muted rust, cream and blue-green accents in cushions or painted furniture for a collected, layered scheme.
