Luxury Plains FabricZOF0007-17

Curzon Chocolate is a deep, warm brown textile with a shadowed, softly mottled surface. Close inspection reveals fine, closely spaced ribbing that catches small areas of lighter light across the dark ground.

About this fabric

The colour reads as rich chocolate brown, with subdued taupe-brown flecks and softly rubbed-looking tonal variation rather than a defined motif. Its dense, tactile surface has a gentle lustre, while the fine ribbed weave gives the plain design visual depth. At 486 gsm and 85 threads per centimetre, it has the substantial handle expected of a hard-wearing upholstery cloth. The 140 cm usable width and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat allow straightforward cutting with no motif matching, and the standard length is 25 m.

How to use it

Use Curzon Chocolate on a generous sofa, club chair or dining seat where its warm, near-black brown depth can anchor a room. Pair it with aged timber, burnished metal and lighter oatmeal or stone textiles to pick up the muted highlights in its surface.

A dense, softly lustrous chocolate surface for richly upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
