About this fabric

At 486 gsm, this is a substantial fabric with an 85 threads-per-centimetre construction suited to upholstered furniture. Its blue-grey ground shifts between smoky slate and softened silvery blue as the surface catches the light, giving the plain cloth notable depth without a printed motif. The specification records a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, so it can be positioned freely across the 140 cm usable width. Supplied in a standard 25 m length, Curzon Blue offers a generous quantity for coordinated upholstery work.

How to use it

Use Curzon Blue on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair in a cool-toned room, pairing its smoky blue depth with pale stone, chalky grey and brushed metal. Its cloudy tonal variation works especially well where a plain upholstery fabric needs more surface character.

A weighty, softly lustrous blue-grey for upholstered seating where tonal texture can take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
