About this fabric

This 420 gsm velvet has a dense, finely textured surface, visible in the smooth directional shading across the two folds. Its 71 threads per cm support the closely packed appearance, while the terracotta tone moves from glowing orange-brown highlights to deeper red shadow. With a 144 cm usable width and zero-centimetre horizontal and vertical pattern repeats, it is a plain, non-directional-looking cloth with no motif to align. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use this warm burnt terracotta on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman to bring red-orange depth into a room with walnut, dark timber, aged brass or softly contrasting neutrals. Turn the pile consistently during upholstery so the light catches evenly across the piece.
