About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is woven in a 56% viscose, 44% cotton blend, giving the swatch a soft-looking surface with a dry, textile hand rather than a glossy finish. The pattern reads as a tightly packed, irregular motif, and in this colourway the rust, clay and cinnamon shades feel sunbaked and earthy rather than bright. The pale ground flecks lift the design and make the repeat feel lively across the 136cm width. With an approximate vertical repeat of 46cm and horizontal repeat of 34cm, it has enough movement for upholstery or curtains without losing its rhythm.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or cushion stack where the warm terracotta base can bring colour without overwhelming the room. It pairs especially well with natural woods, aged brass and warm neutrals, which echo the fabric’s baked-clay depth.
