Java FabricM4150-04

Java in Fuchsia is a lively, textural fabric with a densely mottled, camouflage-like pattern in fuchsia, berry and blush tones. The surface reads crisp rather than plush, giving the colourway a bright, energetic look.

About this fabric

Woven in 56% viscose and 44% cotton, this fabric has a structured handle that suits both upholstery and drapery uses. The approximate width is 136cm, with a vertical repeat of 46cm and horizontal repeat of 34cm, so the pattern has a clearly defined rhythm across larger pieces. In this colourway, the fuchsia sits at the centre, while paler pink and warm beige notes break up the surface and stop it feeling flat. The result is a smart, lively textile with a slightly polished finish that catches the light and deepens in the denser berry areas.

How to use it

Use it to bring colour to a tailored chair, ottoman or roman blind, where the pinks can read bold without becoming sugary. It works particularly well with walnut, lacquered black or pale stone finishes that let the fuchsia stand out.

A vivid fuchsia ground with warmer blush and berry accents that lifts classic upholstery or statement curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
