Prati Terre Cuite

Marco FabricM4162-12

Prati Terre Cuite is a warm, earthy plain with a softly textured surface and a distinctly sun-baked terracotta tone. The weave has a dry, natural look that gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This Marco fabric from Manuel Canovas is composed of 70% viscose and 30% linen, with an approximate width of 144cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm, so it presents as a clean, non-patterned cloth. The colour reads as a muted terracotta with red and clay undertones, warmed further by the linen slub that shows through the surface. Light catches the viscose content with a subtle softness, while the linen keeps the overall impression grounded and tactile. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it suits schemes that want colour and texture without visible motif.

How to use it

Use it on relaxed seating, cushions, or simple curtains where the soft burnt terracotta can bring warmth to pale plaster, oak, or aged brass. Its earthy tone pairs especially well with natural neutrals, chalky whites, and deeper rust accents.

Warm, earthy colour with a natural linen character that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
