Prati Bleu de Chine

Marco FabricM4162-06

Prati Bleu de Chine is a quietly smart blue with a dry, linen-rich look and a subtle crosshatch in the weave. The colour reads as a muted denim tone, cool and even, with gentle tonal variation across the surface.

About this fabric

Part of the Marco collection by Manuel Canovas, this fabric is composed of 70% viscose and 30% linen, giving the cloth a soft handle with the lightly slubbed texture visible in the swatch. It has an approximate width of 144cm and a straight repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm, so the appeal here is in the cloth’s texture and colour rather than pattern placement. The blue is restrained rather than bright, sitting between cornflower and denim with a slightly dusty depth that softens the overall effect. That balance makes it feel polished without being formal, and the fine woven striation catches the light in a calm, understated way.

How to use it

Use this shade on relaxed upholstered pieces, tailored cushions, or simple curtains where the cool blue can bring a fresh, composed note. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky neutrals, and brushed metal finishes.

A cool, versatile blue with a softly textured finish that works beautifully across seating and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
