Camley Danube

Essential Weaves Vol 2 FabricEWV2CAMLEY

Camley Danube brings a cool, muted denim-blue ground with a neat small-scale geometric lattice that reads crisp and tailored. The repeating motif has a subtle woven texture that softens the structure of the pattern.

About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 2, Camley Danube is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only. It has a width of 140cm, a 235gsm cloth weight, and a vertical pattern repeat of 8cm with a horizontal repeat of 6cm. The colourway is a restrained blue with a slightly washed, dusty depth, so the geometric links sit quietly rather than starkly against the ground. That balance of structure and softness makes it feel orderly and contemporary without looking severe.

How to use it

Use it for tailored curtains or Roman blinds where the small-scale pattern can be seen close to hand. Its cool blue tone works especially well with white, stone and pale oak.

Pair with pale neutrals or warm timber for a crisp, tailored look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Camley Danube without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
