About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 2, Camley Iris is a 100% polyester fabric designed for drapes only. The cloth is 140cm wide and has an 8cm vertical repeat and 6cm horizontal repeat, which suits the orderly, interlocking pattern visible here. Its 235gsm weight gives the fabric a substantial curtain presence without looking bulky, while the grey ground keeps the design understated and contemporary. The pale raised motif reads almost chalky against the slate background, creating a neat architectural rhythm across the surface. Rub test results are N/A, so it is best specified as a decorative window fabric rather than an upholstery choice.

How to use it

Use this cool grey colourway for tailored curtains, Roman blinds or layered sheers-and-drapes schemes where a restrained geometric is wanted. It pairs especially well with pale woods, brushed metal and crisp white paintwork.
