Romer Pewter
Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1ROMER
Romer Pewter shows a fine small-scale damask pattern in a cool, softly metallic grey. The raised outline gives the surface gentle movement without losing its restrained, tailored feel.

About this fabric
This Romer colourway is woven in 100% polyester and is specified for drapes only, with a width of 140cm. The pattern repeats every 24cm vertically and horizontally, creating a balanced all-over damask rhythm across the cloth. In Pewter, the ground reads as a pale silver-grey with slightly darker graphite outlining that lifts the motif without making it heavy. The finish looks smooth and closely woven, with enough body at 336 grams per linear metre to hang with a neat, composed line.
How to use it
Use this cool pewter shade for curtains in rooms with painted timber, stone, or chrome finishes, where its low-key sheen will feel crisp rather than stark. It also works well when paired with charcoal, mist, or deep blue accents for a calm, polished scheme.
A restrained pewter damask that suits tailored curtains and elegant, understated schemes.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Romer Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
