Romer Ivory

Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1ROMER

Romer Ivory is a softly luminous ivory damask with a neat small-scale pattern and a calm, tailored feel. In this colourway, the design reads as warm cream rather than stark white, with the raised weave catching the light gently across the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and supplied at 140cm wide, Romer Ivory is catalogued for drapes only and has a substantial weight of 336 grams per linear metre (240 gsm). The small-scale damask pattern repeats at 24cm vertically and horizontally, creating a regular, understated rhythm across the cloth. Visually, the surface is a soft ivory cream with slight tonal movement between the motif and ground, giving the fabric depth without strong contrast. The overall effect is clean, elegant and quietly classic, with enough body to hang smoothly in window treatments.

How to use it

Use Romer Ivory where you want the window dressing to feel light, polished and timeless; its pale ivory tone works especially well against warm woods, plaster whites and muted stone. The small damask keeps it interesting at close range while staying restrained from a distance.

A quietly elegant ivory that keeps a room light and refined.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
