About this fabric

Part of the Carrera collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with an impressive 80,000 Martindale rub count. The swatch reads as a cool pewter grey, softened by subtle tonal variation that catches the light across the weave. Its surface has a dry, slightly textile grain rather than a smooth finish, which gives the colour depth and a tailored feel. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it is designed with commercial interiors in mind, and can be professionally cleaned in situ or washed at 40℃ according to the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Carrera Pewter on sofas, banquettes or headboards where a restrained grey base is needed without looking stark. Its cool, mid-depth tone pairs well with black metal, pale oak and chalky neutrals, and it also grounds brighter accent colours.

A cool, versatile grey that works cleanly across contract seating and tailored schemes.
