Himmeli Pewter

Zanzibar Fabrics FabricSCF0083-02

Himmeli Pewter presents a pale, cool pewter-grey ground with a finely woven geometric pattern of softly faceted, interlocking forms. Subtle shifts between light and mid-grey give the surface gentle depth without strong contrast.

About this fabric

The small geometric repeat measures 15.3 cm vertically by 11.5 cm horizontally, creating a neat, closely spaced rhythm across the cloth. At 284 gsm and 139 cm usable width, this woven fabric has the substance for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its 102 threads per cm contribute to the fine, even texture visible in the swatch, while the muted pewter tone keeps the pattern restrained and architectural. The pale grey facets catch the light differently from the surrounding ground, giving the design a softly dimensional appearance rather than a flat print effect.

How to use it

Use Himmeli Pewter on occasional upholstery, dining chairs or relaxed curtains where its cool grey tone can balance warmer timber, ivory upholstery and softly aged metallic finishes.

Use the cool pewter tone to bring quiet contrast to warm woods, chalky neutrals and brushed metal accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Himmeli Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
