About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 1 collection, Gilden Pewter is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only. The cloth is 140cm wide and has a substantial 337 grams per linear metre, giving it a pleasing presence without looking heavy in the sample. Its tiny woven structure and 1cm vertical repeat create a neat, low-contrast texture, while the 6cm horizontal repeat keeps the pattern rhythm subtle and orderly. The colour sits in a pale pewter grey with a cool, lightly silvery tone that softens beautifully in the light.

How to use it

Use Gilden Pewter for tailored curtains, relaxed sheers-with-weight styling or simple wave headings where the texture can be appreciated up close. Its cool grey tone works especially well with white walls, charcoal upholstery and brushed metal finishes.

A refined neutral that layers easily with pale woods, stone and deeper charcoal accents.
