About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde's Essential Weaves Vol 1, Gilden Taupe is woven in 100% polyester and supplied as a drapes-only fabric. The cloth has a subtle textural grid and a fine, even appearance that catches the light gently across the surface. At 140cm wide, with a weight of 337 grams per linear metre and 241 grams per square metre, it has enough substance to hang neatly while still reading as a soft furnishing textile. The 1cm vertical repeat and 6cm horizontal repeat indicate a very controlled, small-scale structure that stays discreet in this warm taupe colourway.

How to use it

Use this soft taupe on full-length curtains or understated blinds where you want texture without contrast. It pairs naturally with pale wood, stone, and muted metal finishes in calm, layered interiors.
