Theo Taupe

Theo Taupe is a calm, finely patterned neutral with a dry woven handle and a subtle herringbone look. The small-scale zigzag reads as softly textured rather than busy, giving the colourway an understated, tailored feel.

About this fabric

Theo Taupe is woven in a 146cm-wide fabric with a composition of 60% Recycled Wool, 15% Polyester, 10% Polyamide, 10% Wool and 5% Other Fibres. The design shows a very small herringbone repeat, with the pattern sitting close to the surface so the overall effect remains quiet and refined. In this taupe colourway, the ground feels warm and pale, with a gentle beige-brown cast that softens the sharper zigzag structure. The result is a versatile upholstery fabric that also hangs well for restrained drapery where a neat, textural finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this soft taupe against oak, natural linen and chalky paint colours for a layered, contemporary scheme. Its subtle pattern adds detail without interrupting calm, making it especially good for slip seats, chairs and soft furnishings.

A quietly tailored neutral that works beautifully on upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
