About this fabric
Theo Tomato from the Theo collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a fine, closely spaced herringbone weave that gives the surface a subtle directional movement. The colourway reads as a warm tomato red softened with coral and a touch of dusty pink, so it feels inviting rather than sharp. At approximately 146cm wide and made from 60% Recycled Wool, 15% Polyester, 10% Polyamide, 10% Wool and 5% Other Fibres, it has the substance and wool-rich handle suited to seating and other hardworking soft furnishings. The small-scale pattern keeps the look refined, while the natural variation in the weave stops this vivid shade from feeling flat.
How to use it
Use it on an accent chair, banquette or ottoman to bring a warm, tailored burst of colour into neutral rooms. It also works well with oak, tan leather and chalky off-whites, where the coral warmth can stand out cleanly.
A warm, tailored red that adds colour without overwhelming a scheme.

Pairs well with
Theo Tomato is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
