Corbell Red
Vita FabricJ0097-03
Corbell Red in Vita by Jane Churchill pairs a soft cream ground with airy botanical stems and seedheads in berry red, blush and pale gold. The design feels light and natural, with the red accents giving it a fresher, more vivid edge than a purely neutral floral.

About this fabric
This colourway shows a pale ivory base scattered with delicate meadow-style stems, fine fronds and rounded seedheads drawn in berry red, blush, warm taupe and soft gold. The palette is lifted and airy rather than heavy, so the red reads as an accent thread through the pattern instead of a dense ground colour. Woven in 83% linen, 13% viscose and 4% polyester, it has the character of a textured furnishing cloth with enough body for tailored window treatments. The fabric is approximately 128cm wide, with a vertical repeat of about 65cm and horizontal repeat of about 128cm, which suits larger motifs and careful pattern matching. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Corbell Red to add quiet colour to a country drawing room, dining space or bedroom, especially where the cream background can balance darker woods. It works well with aged brass, natural oak and warm white paint, letting the berry tones feel crisp rather than overpowering.
Lovely for curtains or Roman blinds where the pale ground can keep the berry-red stems feeling light.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Corbell Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
