About this fabric
This Skye fabric from Jane Churchill is woven from 51% Recycled Wool, 39% Recycled Acrylic and 10% Recycled Polyester, giving the surface a dry, slightly woolly handle visible in the fine slub and crosshatch texture. The plaid pattern has an approximate vertical repeat of 19cm and horizontal repeat of 18cm, creating a balanced check that feels orderly without looking rigid. In this colourway, the red is muted and earthy, softened by brownish plum threads and lighter, sun-faded rust lines that keep the design from feeling too sharp. At approximately 144cm wide and carrying care code Q 8 + T 3 with fire code K, it is a practical woven option for everyday interior use.
How to use it
Use it on an upholstered armchair, ottoman or banquette to bring a warm country-house note without overwhelming the room. It also works well at the window in this softened red, especially alongside oak, smoked timber and brushed brass.
