Montrose Plaid Green is a softly weathered plaid with a gentle sage-green ground and cooler woven checks running across the surface. The overall effect is calm and rustic, with the pattern sitting quietly rather than shouting.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven with a distinct plaid repeat of approx. V 19cm and H 18cm, giving the design a measured, country-house rhythm. Its 51% recycled wool content gives the cloth a soft, slightly brushed look, while the recycled acrylic and polyester add a tidy, practical finish. In this colourway, the green reads as muted sage with greyed, blue-leaning notes, so the checks feel cool and understated rather than bright. At approx. 144cm wide, it offers a versatile cloth for tailored soft furnishings, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code with fire code K should be checked against project requirements.

How to use it

Use this sage plaid on an armchair, bench seat or Roman blind to add quiet pattern without overpowering the room. It works especially well with oak, painted woodwork and natural linens, where the cool green tones can settle into a relaxed, layered scheme.

A muted sage plaid that brings easy country character to both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
