About this fabric

This Shelley colourway shows a pale sage-green ground with a subtle heathered effect, where the weave reads as small, rounded nubs across the surface. It is a fabric with a relaxed, tactile character rather than a glossy or sharply defined finish. The supplied specification confirms a 138cm approximate width and a composition of 64% polyester, 32% viscose and 4% cotton, with no vertical or horizontal repeat. The overall impression is cool and restrained, with enough visual texture to keep the plain surface from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use Shelley Green where you want a gentle wash of colour on an armchair, banquette or loose cover, especially alongside pale timber and stone. Its muted sage tone also pairs well with off-white curtains and warm neutrals.

A calming sage tone that works easily across soft seating and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
