Shelley Emerald

Shelley FabricJ0115-04

Shelley Emerald shows a calm blue-green surface with a subtly nubbly, woven texture and a softly mottled finish. The colour reads cool and fresh, with enough depth to feel grounded rather than bright.

About this fabric

This Shelley colourway has a gently textured plain weave that gives the surface a pebbled, tactile look rather than a flat finish. In this emerald shade, the cloth sits between sea-glass blue and muted sage green, with pale flecks catching the light across the weave. The fabric is 138cm wide and made from 64% polyester, 32% viscose and 4% cotton, which supports its balanced, slightly structured handle. The 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat confirms a non-directional plain, making it straightforward for cutting and pairing across a scheme. With no performance finish noted and a K fire code, it suits decorative interiors where colour and texture are the focus.

How to use it

Use this cool green on a clean-lined armchair, banquette or box cushions where the texture can be seen up close. It also works neatly against pale oak, chalky whites and brushed brass for a crisp, restrained scheme.

A fresh blue-green that works well on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
