Shelley Charcoal

Shelley FabricJ0115-21

Shelley Charcoal has a quietly mottled grey surface with a soft, pebble-like texture and a cool charcoal depth. The tight weave gives the colourway a restrained, tailored feel rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

This Shelley colourway reads as a cool charcoal grey, lifted by finer pale yarns that create a subtle speckled effect across the surface. The texture is compact and gently nubby, so the fabric has a tactile, upholstered look while still feeling clean and disciplined. It is composed of 64% Polyester, 32% Viscose and 4% Cotton, and comes approximately 138cm wide. With a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx., the design presents as an evenly textured plain rather than a patterned cloth. The overall finish feels smart and understated, with enough softness in the tone to keep dark furniture from looking too heavy.

How to use it

Use Shelley Charcoal on sofas, accent chairs or banquettes where you want a darker anchor with a refined, modern edge. Its cool grey tone pairs well with pale oak, blackened metal and crisp off-white linens.

A muted charcoal with a refined flecked surface that sits neatly on tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
