About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven in a 25% linen, 25% viscose, 25% cotton and 25% polyester blend, giving the surface a lightly textured, natural feel with a more controlled finish. The 140cm width makes it practical for a range of interior uses, while the 23.5cm vertical by 27cm horizontal repeat creates a small-scale, gently spreading vine pattern. In this colourway, the charcoal motif sits clearly against the pale grey background, so the contrast feels defined but not harsh. The overall effect is neat and understated, with enough detail to add interest without dominating a scheme.

How to use it

Use Appledore Charcoal where you want a restrained pattern that still reads distinctly from a distance. It suits smart blinds, cushions or accent upholstery alongside pale timber, putty walls and darker metal finishes.

A neat charcoal trailing pattern that works well on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
