About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven in a 25% linen, 25% viscose, 25% cotton and 25% polyester blend, with a 140cm width and a 23.5cm vertical by 27cm horizontal repeat. In this colourway, the ground reads as a warm off-white rather than a stark white, so the fine brown-grey stems and tiny leaf detail feel soft and understated. The repeating botanical trail creates movement across the cloth without becoming busy, making it feel easy to live with. Its balanced composition and relaxed texture suggest a versatile fabric that can sit comfortably in a room without dominating it.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed curtains, valances or occasional upholstery where you want a light, neutral backdrop with a little pattern. It pairs especially well with pale timber, putty paintwork and other soft natural textures.

A quietly versatile neutral that lifts darker woods and softens crisp schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
